Founded in 2024, the Chambana Film Society has already launched two film festivals: The Savoy Lumiére, a spring festival showcasing a wide range of cinema, and CineSonic, a fall festival dedicated to films about music. Beyond festivals, the Society has hosted monthly (and sometimes more frequent) screenings, and is now expanding with The Savoy Arthouse, a weekly screening series. In just a short time, the Chambana Film Society has established itself as one of the leading film organizations in Central Illinois.
The main submission deadline for The Savoy Lumiére is around 31 December 2026. Confirmed for the current edition.
Submitting to The Savoy Lumiére costs from USD 5 as a rough guide. Entry fees usually rise closer to the deadline and vary by category.
