GEMFest (Gender Equity in Media Festival), formerly the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival, is the only film festival in Western Canada dedicated to women and gender-diverse filmmakers. Produced by GEMS at VIFF Centre with screenings, panels and professional development. Canadian Screen Award qualifying.
